This course is designed to reinforce the application taught online course work, through class discussion board, powerpoint lesson, online instructor talking points controlled and simulated lab settings. The students has the opportunity to practice appointments, scheduling admissions and procedures, maintaining a proper inventory, written communications, organizing a patient medical record, filing medical records, filing insurance forms, bookkeeping and payroll services. 

Upon completion of this course, the student should demonstrate beginning competence in skills used in the medical administrative assistant role. 

Certification Offered: Upon completion of this course, the student will be eligible for CPAR Certification (Certified Patient Accounts Receivable), ask you instructor about the study, practice, cost and enrolment for this Certification Exam.
